BTech Admission

  1. Candidates who are allotted through CEE for joining engineering courses in this institution are advised to strictly follow these instructions / guidelines.
  2. The date and time for joining engineering courses are scheduled as below:





Civil Engineering (CE)

9.30 am – 1.00 pm


Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)

9.30 am – 1.00 pm


Electronics & Communication (EC)

1.00 pm – 4.30 pm


Information Technology (IT)

9.30 am – 1.00 pm


Mechanical Engineering (ME)

9.30 am – 1.00 pm


Students who cannot take admission in the above mentioned dates

1.00 pm – 3.30 pm

  1. Covid-19 Protocol will have to be strictly followed. Strictly wear a face mask inside the campus. Frequently sanitize your hands. Keep social distance throughout the admission process.
  2. Persons (either candidate or accompanying person) with Covid-19 positive cases / from hotspots or containment zones / those who are advised to be under home quarantine must avoid physically appearing at the institution for admission. Authorization of suitable persons for the admission process is permitted.
  3. Candidate along with one parent member or authorized person only will be allowed inside the campus for the admission process. 
  4. Fees to be paid to University, PTA, College Bus Facility etc. at the time of admission is listed below.

Note : PTA fees can be paid through SBI collect using the following link : Kindly ensure to bring the receipt copy of payment while coming for the admission process at the Institute.

  1. You are requested to bring all relevant documents and original of all certificates that are uploaded to CEE.
  2. Report at the institution entrance on the time and date specified as per the schedule above. Park the vehicle, if any, at the space as directed by the security at the gate. Report at the help desk / front office (near car porch, main building).
  3. You have to register at the help desk; provide name, phone number, email ID, etc.
  4. You have to sign & submit a Covid-19 declaration kept at the help desk.
  5. A token will be given and further necessary instruction / details of admission procedure will be given to you at the help desk and then you will be directed to a waiting room.
  6. You may have to fill certain forms which will be distributed in the room.
  7. You will be directed for academic and other certificate verifications in a different room.
  8. After the certificate verification, you will be directed to the main admission procedure carried out in the conference hall, like payment of tuition fee, bus fee, hostel fee, other fees and payments, etc.
  9.  Finally you will visit the principal and get admitted to the course.


Documents to be produced in the order at the time of admission

        1. Data sheet of KEAM 2022
        2. Allotment memo of this phase
        3. Certificate to prove date of birth
        4. Transfer certificate from the institution last attended and conduct certificate
        5. Original mark list of Higher secondary or equivalent and the pass certificate of the qualifying examination (if issued)
        6. Migration Certificate, if applicable (Other than HSE/VHSE)
        7. Receipt of the fee remitted at the Online/ Head post office in Kerala
        8. Eligibility certificate from any University in Kerala, in the case of candidate who have passed a qualifying examination other than HSE/VHSE conducted by Government of Kerala or the examination conducted by CBSE or ICSE board.
        9. Physical fitness certificate in the relevant format given in Annexure XVII (b) of the prospectus 2022
        10. Originals of all the documents/certificates uploaded during the online application
        11. Any other documents required in the allotment as per notification

  • The Academic Fest talk on Feb 4th, 2023 was on Collaborative research Projects of SCTIMST with Government Engineering College Barton Hill (GECBH). The talk was attended by eminent medical faculty and alumini of SCTIMST like Prof. Damodar Rout, Dr. Annapurna Rout, Prof. RN Bhatachrya, Prof. Keki Turel, Prof. SN Mathuriya and Dr. Arun Kumar Karthikayan. It was also attended by Mr. Anoop P Ambika (Chief Executive Officer, Kerala Startup Mission), Prof. K.P.Sudheer (Ex Officio Principal Secretary S&T Department & Executive Vice President KSCSTE), Prof. Bijulal D (Principal, GECBH),Dr. Anish K John (Asst.   • An MoU was signed between Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum, Government Engineering College Barton Hill and GESCO Healthcare Pvt Ltd, Chennai for the prototype development of "Self-retaining Speculum for Endonasal Surgeries".
