M.Tech Prospectus 2026

Candidates who have been allotted admission to the M.Tech programme in the second phase are directed to report to Government Engineering College, Barton Hill, with all the required original documents for certificate verification between 10:00 AM on 29 July 2026 and 3:00 PM on 30 July 2026.

After successful verification of the original documents by the Admission Committee, candidates must remit the prescribed fee at the college office to confirm their admission:

  • Rs. 22,926/-  – General category
  • Rs. 4,575/-  – SC/ST category
  • Rs. 60,631/-  – Translational Engineering programme

The above amount includes: Fees to be paid to the University, Tuition fee, PTA, College Bus Facility etc.

Candidates are advised to refer to the M.Tech Prospectus and visit the college website regularly for the latest updates and further admission-related instructions.

Documents to be produced at the time of admission

  1. Second Phase Allotment Memo issued by the DTE.
  2. Certificate to prove date of birth.
  3. Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate.
  4. Original mark list of the qualifying examination:
    (Engineering Degree Certificate and Mark Sheets)
  5. Migration Certificate, if applicable.
  6. GATE Score Card (for GATE Qualified candidate)
  7. Nativity Certificate if applicable
  8. Medical Certificate if applicable
  9. Community Certificate if applicable
  10. Non-Creamy Layer certificate if applicable
  11. EWS Certificate if applicable
  12. Income Certificate if applicable
  13. Proof of eligibility under the claimed special quota
  14. Sponsorship Certificate and relevant Government Orders (for sponsored candidates only)
  15. Any other documents specified in the M.Tech Prospectus

  1. Candidates allotted through CEE for joining engineering courses in this institution are advised to follow these instructions/guidelines strictly.
  2. The date and time for joining engineering courses are scheduled as below:

Documents to be produced at the time of admission

  • Certificate to prove date of birth.
  • Transfer Certificate from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate.
  • Original mark list of the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary or equivalent*) and the Pass certificate of the qualifying examination (if issued).
    * Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech course under KTU, who have passed a qualifying examination from the examination boards recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) need not produce equivalency certificate.
  • Migration Certificate, if applicable.
  • Physical Fitness Certificate in the relevant format given in Annexure XVII (a) or XVII (b) of the Prospectus 2026.
  • Receipt of fee remitted.
  • Data sheet of KEAM 2026.
  • Allotment Memo issued by the CEE.
  • Any other documents required in the allotment Memo/Notification.
  • Originals of all the documents and certificates uploaded with the online application.
  • Note: Fee/balance fee of the course should be paid at the time of admission to the college itself.
