Personal Growth Centre

The Personal Growth Centre at Government Engineering College, Barton Hill, is committed to fostering emotional well-being, self-awareness, and resilience among students and faculty. It serves as a safe and inclusive space that encourages open conversations around mental health and personal development. As part of our ongoing efforts to promote holistic growth, the college, in collaboration with Let’s Live, a youth-led mental health NGO based in Trivandrum, has initiated the #Unfiltered – Mental Health Campus Outreach Programme under the broader project “Cultivating Resilience.”

Counselling Support

To provide continuous emotional and psychological support, the college has appointed a visiting counsellor, Ms. Sreelekshmi M. Typically, 4–5 students are counselled each week, ensuring personal attention and confidentiality.
